We invite you to stand with CADA for a violence free Mankato. By sponsoring a CADAkid, your donation goes directly to services that provide child victim-witnesses and their families support after exposure to violence in their family and community.
What are CADAkids?
The CADA kids are figurines cut out from wood, the sizes vary because children come in all sizes. The children are red, white and blue because red is a color that is symbolic of protection, white is symbolic of purity (and a reminder that violence steals children’s innocence) and blue is the color of Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention month.
How to partner with CADA?
You can put your church name, your family name, your child or grand child’s name (buy one for each of your children or grandchildren, better yet… buy one for each member of your family!)
A Community Standing together
CADA is hopeful in engaging the community in efforts to make our community a safe place for children to grow and thrive. By sponsoring a CADAkid, your donation goes directly to services that support child victim-witnesses and their families by engaging educational institutions and support service providers through education, advocacy and shelter.
Help make this campaign a success at your local church by purchasing a CADAkid, or by sponsoring at one of the following levels or any level you desire:
Individual: $20 Nonprofit: $40 Family $50 Business: $50
The mission of CADA, Inc. is: “To provide safety and support to victims of domestic and sexual violence through education, advocacy, and shelter.”
Meeting this mission requires a sobering look at the violence we support in our society and deciding to take a proactive stand to communicate positive family values to our children and acknowledging the broad impact that normalizing violence has on child victim-witnesses of domestic violence and sexual assault.
